The medium weight ladders are stronger and the rungs are larger which allows a person to get two feet on the one rung at the same time. They can withstand more wear and tear and often used in the mines and in large silo tanks.
Rungs are swaged directly onto the wire rope and each end is fitted with plated steel thimble eyes secured with aluminium ferrules or in the case of the stainless steel ladders, copper ferrules.
